Well...
Back for the third part of this (dunno how long) series...
but anyway, here goes...
Day 2 : 21 May 2008, Tuesday
As usual, come to school, breathe fresh air, drink water, eat doughnuts, think about girlfriend/boyfriend...
And after all that, morning assembly, where we kena by Mr. Chew (DM) for not 'propelling your voice' during the morning assembly. In the end, we have to sing National Anthem 3 times!!
1st time : "U guys are moving ur mouths, but not propelling ur voice! We'll do it again."
2nd time: "Better, but u will do it one more time, since u need to have someone tell u what to do. STOP FIDGETING!"
3rd time: "..." It was a very long lecture actually, so i dun remember anything...
(Note: Everything u saw was not exact and does not relate to actual events in real life.) :)
So after that, Camp Christine!!! (Not camp Chrisline)
Go there, go to (if i remember clearly) Olave Hall, do some unknown stuff, then to first activity...
Rafting!!!
But i admit, i was kinda scared, cause (yes, i swear now) i can't swim...
LOL
But anyway, rafting quite funny actually, making a raft was nice, riding in the raft was nicer...
But before all this was the Water Confidence test, and man, was that sweet...
Ok no more talk on rafting, i also didn't like it much...
But what was nicer...
KAYAKING!!!
Kayaking was like soooooooooooooooooooooooo nice, thank god there was a life jacket...
I tell u, damn shiok man!
A little lesson on kayaking, then hands - on...
I was quite scared, but then after being on the kayak for 10 mins, i was like, "Come on man!!!"
And yes, i was heavily criticised by my friend who was also on my kayak, for not peddling hard enough. :O
I tell u, rafting - up is no easy business, especially when u have to get ur kayak in a proper position before anything else can happen...
Then after that, we kayak back to shore, and it was like a race, with me and my kayak-mate coming in first...
But stupid thing was, we were supposed to raft - up near the shore, not get our feets on shore!!!
Because of that, we couldn't be called first...
Then after that, we were supposed to try stand on our kayak (yes, stand) and yes, we succeeded, with (thank god) no casualties or fatalities... (ok ok i dun wan to exaggerate...)
But it realli scared the guts outta me...
But i tell u, kayaking was one of the best-est things i have ever done...
Alrite, part 3 ends here...
I'll get back to u guys soon enough with part 4...
till i start typing again, ta - ta - ta - ta - ta - ta!
:)
